Happy 2021, y'all!
Don't you just love the new year and all of the promise it brings? And what a significant promise 2021 carries!
Seeing 2020 come to an end has been a dream of so many for a while now. Yet as we watch the news today we are reminded that the start of the new year is not the magical cure for all that ails us.
Usually January is a time of new beginnings, resolving to make this year better than the last. To be completely honest, so much of those things seem so trivial right now. And although we do want to eat better, exercise more, get organized, etc., what we truly long for is healing for all those ailments.
Thankfully, the most important things this new year brings are a renewed hope in what the future brings and an overwhelming gratitude for all of our many blessings

It is our hope that an end to this pandemic is in sight. It is our hope that Lily & Layla will grow in a world where love and kindness are paramount. It is our hope that we will once again enjoy such passions as travel, live theatre, and gathering with our friends and family.
In the meantime, we will continue to pray and trust God for wisdom and protection, to work to stay strong, safe and well, and, most importantly, to strive to be examples of love and kindness to our family, friends, students, and the world around us.
As long as there is hope , we have much to celebrate! So cue the confetti, y'all, and let the promise of a better 2021 reign.
