It is hard to say which season is our favorite. As we live by the motto "celebrate everything", it is hard to designate any particular one as the best. But...there is nothing quite like the wonder and splendor of Autumn!
Even though the year has not quite gone the way we had hoped and planned, there is still so much to be thankful for! In a time of so much uncertainty, it is quite comforting to honor our traditions and recall a few of our dearest fall memories. So we thought we'd share a couple of our absolute fall favorites with you.
A Tradition of Carving Out Some Fall Fun
Who wouldn't look forward to spending time with these cuties?! The collection of gorgeous pumpkins is just an added bonus! We love that their mom and dad are teaching the girls to appreciate the beauty of the world around us and the bounty of the harvest through the traditions they are creating!
The Taste of Fall
There are certain foods that just signify the fall season! Of course, that would include anything pumpkin. The minute our kiddos smell pumpkin bread baking, they know autumn has officially arrived!
Although this is a fairly unpopular sentiment, we're not particularly fond of Pumpkin Spice Lattes. But...give us hot tea or a Caramel Apple Spice, and we are happy campers!!
Our favorite meal of the season is a hot bowl of chili and some sweet cornbread! We can't wait to share that recipe soon in our Recipes Worth Celebrating blog.
Autumn Decor
We absolutely adore the brilliant colors of fall and love to drape our home with their vibrancy! We can't help but feel pure joy when we are surrounded by pumpkins, mums, and our vintage Halloween collections!
The Happiest Time at The Happiest Place
The realities of the current pandemic have prompted us to cancel our upcoming trip to Disney World. Thankfully our Disney trip in October 2019 created wonderful autumn memories for our family that will last a lifetime! We can't discuss our fall favorites without mentioning our celebration of the season with Mickey and his friends!
Smells So Sweet
We stumbled upon ScentSationals Pumpkin Spice wax cubes the other day at Walmart and we are in LOVE! Pretty sure we need to order it by the case since we turn on our warmers the second we walk in the house these days.
During our Guest House Quarantine we began using Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day products and we have been nothing but impressed! And when we discovered their fall scents, we couldn't wait to add them to our cleaning routine! Our current favorite is the Apple Cider line.
We pray that this uniquely challenging fall season allows our hearts to be filled with renewed hope inspired by love, laughter, and lasting memories with our families.
